The Media Maratón del Melocotón ("Peach Half Marathon") starts and finishes at Plaza de la Constitución in Guadix, a town famous for its cave dwellings carved into the rock and its status as one of Andalusia's peach-growing centers. The 21.097 km course passes through the neighboring town of Benalúa, alongside a shorter 10K option. Every finisher traditionally receives a bag of fresh local peaches. The race is part of the Diputación de Granada's Gran Premio de Fondo circuit and draws a mostly regional field.
