The Haspa Marathon Hamburg is Germany's biggest spring marathon, held in late April. The flat course starts by the exhibition centre and passes through St. Pauli and the Reeperbahn, along the Elbe and the Alster and across the town hall square, with hundreds of thousands of spectators. Hamburg means the Elbphilharmonie, the Speicherstadt warehouses (UNESCO), the Sunday fish market and walks around the Alster.
