Estimated date — the organiser has not announced the exact day yet
Semi de Paris takes place on the first Sunday of March, and more than 45,000 people ran the last edition — from 2027 bibs are even allocated by ballot, as at the majors. Now called Hoka Semi de Paris, it starts on Boulevard Saint-Germain and passes the Jardin des Plantes, the François Mitterrand library, the Bois de Vincennes and the Seine quays before finishing at Place de la Bastille. The course is fast — the records stand at 59:38 for men and 1:06:01 for women — but above all it is a popular celebration with packed pavements. Spring Paris afterwards means the Marais and Place des Vosges, Île de la Cité and Notre-Dame, coffee on a terrace and a walk along the Seine.
An easy run with a local club the day before the race — the best way to shake out the legs and meet the city.
