The KiKa Hilversum City Run is a spring 10 km and 5 km race plus kids' and family distances, in support of KiKa, which funds childhood cancer research. The course runs through central Hilversum and its gently rolling neighbourhoods past café squares, and the 10 km also passes the Media Park and the Sound & Vision institute, finishing on the Market Square. The route is wheelchair- and buggy-friendly. Hilversum is the Netherlands' media capital, with Dudok's town hall and the forests and heaths of the Gooi all around.
