Holger Danske Sommer is a summer 5 km, 10 km and half-marathon race in Helsingør, named after the legendary Holger Danske, said to sleep in Kronborg's casemates until Denmark is in danger. The course runs through town and along the Øresund with views of Sweden. Afterwards: Kronborg Castle (UNESCO, Hamlet's Elsinore), the M/S Maritime Museum and the old town.
