The TirolMilch Frühlingslauf is Innsbruck's spring race, held in April; the next edition is set for 10 April 2027. It offers a half marathon plus 15, 10 and 5 km, so it suits runners opening their season as well as newcomers. Innsbruck sits on the floor of the Inn valley, so the running is flat, with the still-snowy slopes of the Nordkette overhead. The city has the Golden Roof and its old town, the Hofburg palace, a cable car from the centre up the Nordkette and the Bergisel ski jump.
