Jooks ümber Pühajärve (Run around Lake Pühajärv)

The 'Run around Lake Pühajärv' is the most scenic of Estonia's lake races (45 editions). The course wraps around Pühajärv — the 'Holy Lake', with its indented shores and little islands — by the famous Otepää resort, the winter-and-summer capital of Estonian sport in the hilly south. The terrain is gently rolling and the views over water and pines are the reward for the effort. Held in July, it is a perfect excuse to combine a race with a lakeside break. Organised by the Stamina sports club.
