The Koblenzer Sparkassen Marathon is an autumn marathon, half and 10 km around the Deutsches Eck, where the Moselle flows into the Rhine. A flat course along both rivers and through the old town. Koblenz has a cable car over the Rhine to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and is the gateway to the Upper Middle Rhine Valley (UNESCO) with its castles and vineyards.
