Košice Peace Half Marathon (KPHM)

Košice Peace Half Marathon is held in May as a spring companion to the famous autumn International Peace Marathon — Europe's oldest marathon. Besides the half, runners can choose 10 km or 5 km, so it suits first-timers as well as those sharpening up for the season. The course differs from the autumn one but mostly uses streets every October marathoner knows well, around the centre of Košice and its main street, Hlavná. Košice, Slovakia's second city, offers St Elisabeth's Cathedral, the singing fountain, cafés along Hlavná and easy trips to the Slovak Paradise national park.
