The Media Maratón del Kaki is a small but characterful race in L'Alcúdia (Comunidad Valenciana), named after the persimmon ('kaki') fruit grown throughout the surrounding countryside. Capped at 1,600 runners, the certified course winds through the rural Ribera Alta region famous for its persimmon orchards, and finishers are traditionally treated to a fresh-fruit tasting at the finish line.
