La Nocturna de Madrid is the capital's most fun night run: about 7 km through closed-off central streets with music, light shows and up to 10,000 participants. It is a party on the move more than a race — many come in groups and costumes. A flat urban course and a warm June night make it an ideal easy 'off-the-couch' start in tourist Madrid.
