The Łemkowyna Ultra Trail is an autumn ultra in the Low Beskids, held in October and finishing in the spa town of Krynica-Zdrój; its flagship distance is 150 km. The courses follow the Main Beskid Trail through forests, empty valleys and former Lemko villages, of which wooden churches and wayside crosses remain. October in the Beskids means golden beech woods, mud, fog and cold nights, so the race is known as much for its beauty as for its toughness. Shorter distances are on offer for those just discovering mountain ultras. Krynica-Zdrój offers mineral springs, a spa promenade and cable cars to Góra Parkowa and Jaworzyna.
