LHUT – Lysohorský SkyRace is a mountain festival at the foot of Lysá hora in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids; the next edition is set for 22 May 2027. Start and finish are at the KAM hotel in Malenovice, and the programme includes an ultra trail starting at 6am, the SkyRace and the SuperSky. The courses follow beautifully marked hiking trails designed to show Lysá hora from every direction, with steep climbs to the summit and technical descents. The race runs under the patronage of Lesy ČR and the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area, and part of each entry fee goes to conservation on the mountain. The Beskids offer the huts on Lysá hora, Šance reservoir, Frýdlant nad Ostravicí and Wallachian villages.
