The Mattoni Liberec Trail Run is RunCzech's autumn trail race and the last event of its season: the 9th edition takes place on 3 October 2026 with around 4,000 runners. The two main distances — about 22 and 12 km (extended to 23 and 13 km in 2026 due to construction) — run through forests, past a reservoir, over a granite quarry and back through the Jizera foothills. The terrain is rolling but accessible to trail newcomers, and families have a dm mile and kids' races. It is a calming run through nature instead of city asphalt — a fine way to close the season. Liberec offers Ještěd mountain with its hotel-tower, the town hall, the Jizera Mountains and the region's glassmaking heritage.
