TCS London Marathon
25 April 2027 · London, UK
iconicpb course
The London Marathon is a race of world records and London postcards at once. Starting in Greenwich, crossing Tower Bridge at the halfway point, passing St Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben, and finishing by Buckingham Palace — the route runs through the city's most recognizable views. It's here that 2026 saw the first sub-two-hour marathon in open racing conditions. And the crowds line the entire course loud enough to carry you through any weather, from cool spring mornings to surprisingly warm afternoons.

Weather in April
Late April is usually cool — 8–17°C — but occasional years spike above 22°C, so it's worth planning for both scenarios.

Reviews
Vijay (geeksonfeet.com)2025
I'd waited over a decade for this start line. Ran the first half conservatively and pulled off a negative split — this was the final race in my Six Star Majors journey.
Elizabeth D'Andrea (sundried.com)2025
I ran with a chronic knee injury and cortisone shots beforehand. Deliberately paced slower than the 4:58 group — and still beat them to the finish.
