Lyon Urban Trail is a spring urban trail in early April, reaching its 19th edition in 2027 and drawing around 13,000 participants, over 40% of them women. Distances are 38, 28, 18 and 12 km, plus a walking version, and between them the courses climb thousands of stairs. The routes dive into parks, passageways and steep lanes, climb Lyon's hills and open up views over the Saône, the Rhône and the old-town rooftops — 'the city as you've never seen it'. Afterwards: Fourvière basilica, Renaissance Vieux Lyon, bouchons serving quenelles and the Paul Bocuse market hall.
