Moratalaz is a residential district in eastern Madrid that has hosted a popular half marathon since the 1970s, organised by the Asociación Atlética Moratalaz. The 2026 edition is the 49th, offering three distances — a 3km mini race, a 10K, and the half marathon — capped at 2,000 participants. The start is on Calle Fuente Carrantona, finishing at the district's municipal sports centre. The course is urban and flat, making it approachable for beginners and a good PB option close to central Madrid.
