Marathon International de Deauville takes place in mid-November in one of Normandy's most elegant resorts. Choose the marathon, half, 10 km or a marathon relay for two or four, plus a 900 m kids' race. The course mixes town streets and country roads through the Norman villages of Tourgéville, Benerville and Saint-Arnoult, with the finish on the legendary wooden 'Planches' along the beach. Deauville means racecourses, beach cabins named after film stars, the casino and neighbouring Trouville with its fish market, plus the cider and calvados of the Pays d'Auge.
