The Toulouse marathon is now called Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Expérience and takes place at the turn of October and November. The programme includes the marathon, half, 10 km, a marathon relay and kids' races, with thousands of runners in each adult race. The course follows the Garonne banks through the Jardin des Plantes, the Île du Ramier and Place du Capitole, and from 2026 also the 'Piste des Géants', celebrating Toulouse's aviation glory. The organisers focus on sustainability and local produce, and Toulouse itself means pink brick, the Basilica of Saint-Sernin, the Cité de l'espace and cassoulet.
