20 km International Marseille-Cassis
25 October 2026 · Marseille, France
20kiconicpoint to pointhillycol de la ginestecoastalautumn
Marseille-Cassis has been held on the last Sunday of October since 1979, and 2026 brings its 47th edition — one of France's most famous road races. The 20 km start in Marseille, then the road climbs long and hard to the Col de la Gineste above the Calanques National Park before plunging down to the port of Cassis. The sea opens up on the descent, and thousands of runners finish on the quay among fishing boats and terraces to roaring crowds. Marseille means the Old Port, Notre-Dame de la Garde and bouillabaisse; Cassis means white wine, the Cap Canaille cliffs and walks to the Port-Miou and En-Vau calanques.
