The Alegro Setúbal Half Marathon takes place in spring, at the end of April, with a half marathon, 10 km and 5 km plus kids' races. Setúbal sits between the sea and the mountains, and the course shows off both: the Sado estuary waterfront, the city and views towards the Atlantic and the Arrábida range. The flat seaside terrain suits both PB attempts and a first half marathon. Afterwards, eat fried cuttlefish (choco frito) in the harbour restaurants, take a boat to see the Sado's dolphins, relax on the beaches of Arrábida Natural Park or ferry across to Tróia.
