Start and finish at Port Hercule, the route runs along Boulevard Louis II past the Monte-Carlo Bay hotel, through the Jardin d'Acclimatation, the Japanese Garden and the Jardin de la Villa Sauber, returns along Avenue Princesse Grace — and repeats for a second loop. The course is considered one of the fastest 10K road courses in the world (258 m of total elevation gain over two laps on mostly flat asphalt), drawing over 400 runners a year.
