Petzl Nuuksio Night Trail is a late-September night trail race organised by Runner's High since 2016. There's a single 13 km distance, starting at 19:30 from the Luukki recreation area on the Espoo–Helsinki border. The route runs almost entirely through dark forest, marked with reflectors; a headlamp is mandatory, with aid stations around 6 and 9 km. It's a genuine adventure: just your beam, roots underfoot and stars above the pines — followed by changing rooms, showers and a sauna at the Luukki lodge. Nuuksio's lakes and cliffs lie half an hour from Helsinki, perfect for hiking and canoeing by day.
