The ASICS Österreichischer Frauenlauf is a legendary women's race held since the late 1980s in Vienna's Prater park. Tens of thousands of women pick 5 km (run or Nordic walking) or 10 km on the park's completely flat avenues. The vibe is festive and supportive — perfect for beginners and 'straight-off-the-couch' runners. It traditionally takes place on the last Sunday of May, with the 5 km starting first, then the 10 km.
