The Oxford Half was first run in 2011 and takes place each October; in 2025 its runners raised more than £1.5 million for over 180 charities. The closed-road course winds through Oxford's historic centre among college spires and old streets, and is known as fast and flat, perfect for a PB. Live music and dense crowds line the route, and the party continues in the event village. Oxford offers the Bodleian Library, the Radcliffe Camera, Christ Church, punting on the Cherwell and the Covered Market.
