The PANAS Półmaraton Ślężański is a spring half marathon in Sobótka that held its 18th edition in March 2026 and is part of the Lower Silesian Half Marathon Crown. Start and finish are on Sobótka's Market Square, and the course around the Ślęża massif is rolling, with views of mountains and fields; the men's record stands at 1:04:28. The 5 km 'Piątka Ślężysława' runs alongside, so beginners are welcome too. It is a popular season opener for runners from Wrocław and all of Lower Silesia. Above the town rises Ślęża, the sacred mountain of the ancient Slavs, and Wrocław with its gnomes and Ostrów Tumski is under an hour away.
