Decem Futás takes place in Pannonhalma, a small town crowned by a thousand-year-old Benedictine abbey that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 5 and 10 km courses run on paved roads through the region's hills and vineyards, with postcard views of the monastery; short children's races are included too. The terrain is rolling, so it is a scenic rather than a fast race. A lovely way to combine an easy run with a visit to one of Hungary's landmark sights.
