The Pardubický vinařský půlmaraton is a spring half marathon in Pardubice that, as its name says, is dedicated to wine, turning the race into a celebration for runners and spectators. The city lies on the flat Elbe plain, so the course is flat and fast — many come for an early-season PB. The mood is cheerful and relaxed: after the finish you will want to stay and celebrate rather than rush home. A fine race for anyone who likes to mix running and pleasure. Pardubice offers its Renaissance castle, the Green Gate tower, the Velká pardubická steeplechase and its famous gingerbread.
