Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris
11 April 2027 · Paris, France
iconicscenic
The Paris Marathon starts at the Arc de Triomphe and runs along the Seine through the most postcard-perfect part of the city — the Louvre, Notre-Dame, the Bastille, the Eiffel Tower — before circling back to where it began. The course is gently rolling rather than perfectly flat, and spring weather adds its own unpredictability, from a crisp 7°C to surprisingly warm afternoons. Organizers are phasing out disposable cups at aid stations, so bringing your own bottle is a good idea — there's no shortage of water or motivation along the way.

Reviews
Jessie Benson (The Right Fits)2025
My 47th marathon, run with a tendon injury and a cold on race day — still finished in 4:30. My hotel was 350 meters from the start, and the electrolyte drink at aid stations wasn't great — bring your own bottle.
Romain Pellerin (блог)2025
A personal record of 3:12:42. The crowd at Bastille and Pont de Bir-Hakeim was so dense and loud it felt like a Tour de France stage.
