The Pisa Half Marathon — the International Half Marathon of Pisa — takes place in early October and reached its 20th edition in 2026. Alongside the half runs the Pisa Ten, in competitive and non-competitive versions, so everyone can find a distance to suit them. The organisers invite elite athletes and offer free entry to runners with disabilities, a race proud of its inclusiveness. The course is flat through the streets of this Tuscan city, and October weather is ideal for a PB. Pisa means the Piazza dei Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, cathedral and baptistery, the Arno embankments, Piazza dei Cavalieri and student trattorias in the old town.
