Podgorička desetka is a popular mass 10 km run in Montenegro's capital, organised by the Ekomen sports-and-recreation club with support from the VOLI retail chain. The course runs over the parkland Gorica hill above the city, so it is not a flat, fast 10 km but a lively recreational run with climbs and views over Podgorica. Held at the end of January, it is the city's main winter running event, drawing amateurs, families and experienced runners alike. The mild Balkan winter, almost snow-free, keeps taking part comfortable.
