The Półmaraton Warszawski is the capital's spring half marathon: its 20th edition in 2026 was billed as Poland's biggest street race, and the 21st is on 4 April 2027. It holds World Athletics Elite Label status and belongs to the Crown of Polish Half Marathons, so strong professionals run alongside amateurs. The course follows central Warsaw streets and the Vistula embankments, with the New Balance Bieg na Piątkę 5K held alongside. Every finisher gets a medal and T-shirt, and the #BiegamDobrze charity programme lets you run for a cause. Warsaw offers the rebuilt Old Town, the Royal Castle, Łazienki Park, the Warsaw Rising Museum and the Vistula boulevards.
An easy run with a local club the day before the race — the best way to shake out the legs and meet the city.
