Postojna run is an accessible road race in the tourist town of Postojna on Slovenia's Karst plateau. Choose a flat 5 km or 10 km through town and its surroundings (a separate 27 km trail also runs, but that is a different format). Postojna is famous for the vast Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle, so the race pairs easily with sightseeing. The distances suit beginners and 'straight-off-the-couch' runners; it starts on an August morning when the plateau is already fresh.
