Promina Trail is a trail race around Drniš in the Dalmatian hinterland, listed by ITRA and held regularly in recent years. The courses carry local names: Veliki Točak (about 55 km), Mali Točak (39 km), the shorter Panorama Đir of 11 km and a route to the Liluša cave. The trails climb the karst slopes of Mount Promina with views over the Krka valley — rocky, with plenty of elevation. It is an intimate race with the homely feel of a small Dalmatian town. Drniš is famous for its prosciutto, its castle above the Čikola canyon and its links to sculptor Ivan Meštrović, and the waterfalls of Krka National Park are close by.
