The Ravenna Half Marathon (Consar Ravenna Half Marathon) takes place in early November as part of the Maratona di Ravenna Città d'Arte, a running festival with a marathon, half marathon and the non-competitive 'Good morning Ravenna' 10 km. The start is at the Pala De André arena, and the course lets you 'run Ravenna', a city whose eight early Christian and Byzantine monuments are UNESCO-listed. The pride of the race is a handcrafted, mosaic-inspired finisher medal — the 2026 edition features the Mausoleum of Theodoric. The weekend expo draws tens of thousands of visitors, and shuttles link the city with Bologna and Forlì airports. Afterwards, admire the mosaics of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, Dante's tomb and the beaches of Marina di Ravenna.
