Remich's NightRun began in 2023 and takes place on a summer Friday evening at 7:30 pm, opening the IRONMAN triathlon weekend on the Moselle. Start and finish are on the Route du Vin by the riverfront, and the course is a few short laps along the flat riverbank, so spectators see the runners again and again. You can run solo or in a team of two to four, a good way to soak up a big triathlon's atmosphere without swimming or cycling. Remich, the 'pearl of the Moselle', is a wine town known for riverside walks, crémant and Riesling tastings and river cruises.
