Royal Run is a mass run created in 2018 for the 50th birthday of then Crown Prince Frederik, who runs with everyone — today as King. It takes place on Whit Monday in several Danish cities at once: you can run one mile or 10 km, and the streets turn into a party. Copenhagen and Frederiksberg host the biggest edition, with tens of thousands of runners: central streets, parks and dense crowds.
