Run Balmoral is a popular running weekend on the royal Balmoral Estate in the valley of the River Dee (Royal Deeside), a scenic corner of the Scottish Highlands. On the Saturday it stages mass 5K and 10K races on the estate roads and driveways, with views of Balmoral Castle and the Deeside hills — a beautiful, gently hilly course. It's a rare chance to run on the grounds of a royal residence, pairing the race with a Highlands postcard in early May. Date shown per the announced 1–2 May 2027 weekend.
