Run For Autism Half Marathon Ayia Napa
Run for Autism in Ayia Napa takes place in late March, with 2027 marking its sixth consecutive edition, organised by Ayia Napa Municipality, Autism Support Famagusta and Love Cyprus Running. Here it is not about seconds but about supporting autistic people and their families: runners can raise sponsorship, and volunteers are always welcome. The half marathon is a recent addition, joined by 10 km and 5 km races, a 5 km fun run you can walk, a 1 km kids' race held in memory of Iakovos Triaros and a 500 m dash for the youngest. The half starts by Nissi Bay, and in spring Ayia Napa is still quiet while the sea is already inviting. Nearby are Cape Greco's sea caves, the medieval monastery in the town centre and the best beaches on the east coast.
