Run In Marseille takes place in late March and showcases a city with 2,600 years of history through its most iconic places. Distances include the marathon, half, the popular 10 km, a 6 km and a three-person marathon relay, with thousands taking part in the 10 km and half. The marathon starts at the MuCEM and passes La Major cathedral, the commercial port, Place Castellane, Pointe Rouge, the edge of the Calanques National Park, the Vélodrome stadium and the Corniche Kennedy beaches, finishing at the Old Port beneath Notre-Dame de la Garde. Afterwards Marseille offers bouillabaisse by the harbour, the lanes of Le Panier, the Château d'If and walks to the calanques.
