The former Run In Reims is now called Reims Champagne Run and takes place in October; the 2025 edition drew around 13,000 participants. Saturday features the 87 km Sacré Trail ultra (solo or relay) and a 42 km trail, while Sunday brings the flagship half marathon plus 10 km and 5 km through the city. The road courses pass the UNESCO-listed Notre-Dame cathedral, the Porte de Mars and the Basilica of Saint-Remi, while the ultra crosses 38 communes of forests, villages and Champagne estates in the Montagne de Reims nature park. Reims is the coronation city of French kings and the capital of Champagne, with tastings in chalk cellars and the Champagne wine route on the doorstep.
