The Sæby Bjergmarathon takes place in spring: a half and a full marathon through the hilly woods and trails around Sæby on North Jutland's east coast. 'Mountain' is said with Danish irony, but you really do feel the hills. Sæby is a cosy seaside town with a harbour, old merchants' houses and a monastery church.
