Santa Pola is a working fishing port on the Costa Blanca, known for its active fleet and its proximity to the Salinas de Santa Pola nature park. The completely flat, sea-level course is considered one of Spain's four best half marathons, drawing around 8,000-10,000 runners across the 10K and half marathon distances. AIMS-certified, it is regarded as one of the fastest courses in the country thanks to its flat terrain.
