São Silvestre de Almada is a year-end city run on the south bank of the Tagus, directly opposite Lisbon, with views of the 25 de Abril bridge and the Cristo Rei statue. There is a main 10K and an accessible 5K, plus a children's walk. The festive December mood, closeness to the capital (25 minutes) and river panoramas make it a convenient and scenic race for a tourist visiting Lisbon at the end of the year.
