Semi-Marathon de Boulogne-Billancourt Christian Granger takes place in November and draws around 12,000 runners. It starts on Avenue Victor Hugo, follows the Seine past La Seine Musicale and Longchamp racecourse, dives into the Bois de Boulogne and returns — only about 124 m of climbing in all. The course is renowned for speed and personal bests, musicians play along the way, and it is adapted for handisport athletes. Boulogne-Billancourt is a gateway to Paris, with the Albert Kahn gardens, the Parc de Saint-Cloud and the Eiffel Tower a few metro stops away.
