Medio Maratón de Sevilla
29 November 2026 · Seville, Spain
flatpb courselargest in spainhistoric
The Medio Maratón de Sevilla is a separate event from the February Zurich Maratón de Sevilla, drawing around 20,000 runners each year over a course with barely 26 metres of total elevation gain. The route passes the city's most iconic landmarks — Plaza de España, the cathedral and Giralda tower, and the Triana Bridge over the Guadalquivir river — while Andalusia's mild late-November climate offers near-perfect racing conditions. In 2026, organisers moved the race from its traditional January slot to late November following a citywide sports-calendar restructuring, making this the 32nd edition. The atmosphere throughout Seville is genuinely festive, with locals cheering from every corner of the historic centre. Registration is first-come, first-served, and the runner expo is held at the San Pablo Sports Pavilion.

Reviews
Corredor local, Foro Runners2026
One of the flattest routes I've ever run — almost no elevation change, and the whole city came out to cheer on every corner.
