The Internationaler Raiffeisen Silvesterlauf in Peuerbach (Upper Austria) is one of the country's most prestigious New Year's road races, drawing world-class runners every 31 December. For mass participants there's a 6.8 km public run and a shorter 5.1 km through the small town's streets, plus kids' races.
