The Skagen Marathon takes place in early October: from 5 km to the marathon around Skagen — dunes, beaches and heath at the very top of Jutland. The special light that once drew the Skagen Painters is especially beautiful in autumn. Afterwards: Grenen, where the North Sea meets the Baltic, the Skagens Museum with works by Krøyer and the Anchers, yellow houses and fish restaurants by the harbour.
