Snowdonia Marathon Eryri
24 October 2026 · Llanberis (Eryri/Snowdonia), UK

Snowdonia Marathon Eryri has been run on the last Saturday of October since 1982, created as an alternative to city marathons and twice voted Britain's best marathon. The course circles Snowdon, Wales's highest mountain: up the Llanberis Pass to 335 m, down through the village of Beddgelert, a second climb to 366 m at Bwlch y Groes and a thrilling descent back into Llanberis. Wild mountain scenery, fickle autumn weather and Welsh support make the finish deeply emotional. Eryri offers the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Caernarfon and Conwy castles, lakes and slate-quarry heritage.
