The SportScheck RUN Nürnberg is a leg of Germany's largest city running series. The 10 km Citylauf starts on the central market square (Hauptmarkt) by the famous Schöner Brunnen fountain and the Frauenkirche, leading runners through Nuremberg's historic centre with its castle and half-timbered lanes. A flat urban route, warm crowd support and the series' solid organisation make it an accessible autumn 10K in one of Bavaria's most atmospheric cities.
